S型泵系單級、雙吸、泵殼中開的臥式離心泵，供吸送清水或物理化學性質類似于水的其它液體，被吸送液體溫度不超過80℃。

  S型泵主要適用于工廠、礦山、城市給水、電站、水利工程、農田灌溉及排澇等。

型號意義：

    從聯軸器端看，S型泵均為順時針方向旋轉。用戶如需要逆時針方向旋轉的泵，必須在訂貨時特殊提出。

    S型泵的主要零部件有：泵體、泵蓋、葉輪、軸、雙吸密封環、軸套、軸承部件與聯軸器部件等。除軸的材料為優質碳鋼外，其余主要零件為鑄鐵制成。

    泵殼制成水平中開，泵的吸人口與吐出口均鑄在下半部泵體上，泵蓋以螺尾錐銷定位，與泵體配合。檢查泵殼內部時，只要拆開泵蓋，毋須拆卸進出水管路。泵體的進出水法蘭上，有安裝真空表與壓力表的管螺紋孔。在進出水法蘭的底部有放水用的螺塞。

    Type S pumps are single stage,  double suction with horizontally split casings. They are suitable for pumping clean water or liquid similar to it in physical and chemical properties at a temperature not exceeded 80℃.

    Type  S pumps are. adoptable in factories, mines, water works, power stations, hydraulic engineerings,  irrigation or drainage services in agriculture, etc.

    The nomenclature of the model is based on its size and characteristic. For example:

    Viewed from the driving end, all the S pumps are rotating in clockwise direction. Pumps of counter-clockwise rotation can only be supplied upon special request.

    The main components of S pump are listed as follows: lower half casing, upper half casing, impeller, shaft, double suction sealing, shaft sleeves, bearing housings and couplings.

    The volute casing is split on the horizontal center line with the suction and dischatge nozzles cast integral with the Pump casing. The upper casing is accurately located on the lower half by the use of dowel pins. It can be removes to inspect the irfterior of the pump without disturbing the pipe connections or pump alignment. The suction and discharge flanges contain tapped holes for vacuum and pressure gauge. At the bottom of the flanges， there are tapped plugs for water drainage.
